The JCHS Theatre Department offers classes in Fundamentals of Theatre, Acting (Acting I - IV, Advanced Drama I - IV) and Technical Theatre (Tech Theatre I - IV). Each season, the department offers several after-school performance opportunities.

This year, we will be producing a full-length fall production that we will also cut down for our one act play entry for the GHSA One Act competition, a winter musical that we plan to enter into the Shuler Awards Competition, and a spring production not yet determined.

We also have a Drama Club and Improv Club that meet once a month and are open to all students. Students also have an opportunity to earn points for membership in the honorary Thespian Society.

The JCHS Theatre Department is committed to providing all theatre students with a professional, well-rounded four-year theatre experience that stresses high-quality theatre performance and working as an ensemble.
