The JCHS Theatre Department offers classes in Fundamentals of Theatre, Acting (Acting I - IV, Advanced Drama I - IV) and Technical Theatre (Tech Theatre I - IV). Each season, the department offers several after-school performance opportunities. We offer two fall one act plays including one that competes in the GHSA One Act competition, a winter musical and a spring rotation of a full-length play or student directed one acts. We also have a Drama Club and Improv Club that meet once a month and are open to all students. Students also have an opportunity to earn points for membership in the honorary Thespian Society.

The JCHS Theatre Department is committed to providing all theatre students with a professional, well-rounded four-year theatre experience that stresses high-quality theatre performance and working as an ensemble.
